The Traitors India is back with a new season, a fresh group of celebrity contestants and another round of deception, strategy and high-stakes gameplay. Hosted by Karan Johar, Season 2 premiered on Amazon Prime Video on August 13, 2026, giving viewers their first glimpse at the latest battle between the Traitors and the Faithfuls.

The first three episodes of the reality series are already available to stream. Unlike shows that release a full season at once, The Traitors India Season 2 follows a weekly release pattern. New episodes are scheduled to arrive every Thursday, allowing viewers to follow the contestants’ alliances, suspicions, round-table discussions and eliminations as the game progresses.

The season features 21 celebrity players from entertainment, television, digital media and other fields. Among the confirmed contestants are Munawar Faruqui, Mallika Sherawat, Rhea Chakraborty and Ranveer Brar, adding a mix of personalities and backgrounds to the competition.

What is the format?

The central concept remains a battle between two groups: Traitors and Faithfuls. The Traitors secretly work to eliminate other contestants while protecting their identities. Meanwhile, the Faithfuls must observe the behaviour of their fellow players and identify who is secretly working against them.
